Our exclusive "No Touch Warranty" provides unparalleled service on every Rhody Ready system we sell!

Most computer problems tend to be software-related, forcing users to call the computer manufacturer's technical support agent to troubleshoot and repair their system. Of course, speaking to an agent requires waiting on hold for quite some time, reading cryptic serial numbers to verify warranty status and wasting valuable time. The fastest and most painless way to get your computer up and running is through our No-Touch Warranty service. The No Touch Warranty enables parents and students to relax, knowing their new system will be repaired without additional service charges or hassles. If your computer has to be serviced for a hardware problem, we'll also lend you a replacement system to keep you up and running.

We include our "No-Touch Warranty" on all new computer systems sold. We call it this because if you have a problem with your computer, just call us and we'll fix it - you don't need to touch it! This is in addition to the computer manufacturer's 3-year warranty, which normally only covers parts and labor. It lasts for one academic year and can be renewed subsequent years for $89 On-Campus and $79 Off-Campus.

No-Touch enhances the manufacturer's warranty in the following ways:

  • On-site service (for dorm, sorority, and fraternity rooms) between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM
    Give us a call and one of our friendly, trained technicians will visit you in your on-campus room.
  • Virus and spyware cleaning included!
    Many manufacturers do not perform warranty work on systems infected with viruses and spyware. Your No-Touch Warranty allows you to have a technician remove any viruses or spyware at no charge.
  • Unlimited in-store labor
    For more complicated or time-consuming problems, we may have to service the computer in-store. All "No Touch" systems take priority so you can be assured that your system will be fixed as quickly as possible. We provide in-store service on all of the models that we sell!
  • Loaner laptops
    If we can't fix your hardware problem in a timely manner, we'll lend you a laptop to keep you up and running!Τ

With a purchase as expensive as a computer, protection is important. And because most students will be here for more than the 1 year, the standard warranty our manufacturers include isn't enough. All of our systems include an extended 3-year warranty that will cover parts if they fail. But in a compact dorm room, drinks get spilled in keyboards, laptops get knocked off desks, and screens get cracked. This kind of damage is not covered by this extended warranty. We offer an accidental damage warranty on all of our PC laptops. For roughly $1 a week you can protect your investment from accidental damage.

We strongly recommend you to talk to your homeowner insurance company about protecting your student's personal property against fire and theft, as fire and theft are not covered by accidental damage.
