Where's my Vertical Slip case?
Due to a problem with our vendor, we were unable to provide customers with a 15.0" Vertical Slip Case at the beginning of the program. This issue has been resolved, please come visit us at the store to pick yours up.
What's the unlock code to my computer?
You may receive your unlock code online by visiting our unlock site at http://www.uri.edu/ramcomputers/unlock.
If you are still experiencing difficulties, please visit RAM Computers (and bring your Student ID) to receive your code.
The UPC to my iBook/PowerBook is already cut out! Help!
In some cases, we have removed the UPC to your iBook or PowerBook to assist you in receiving your iPod rebate. You may pick up your rebate package (which includes your UPC) and your iPod by visiting RAM Computers (remember to bring your Student ID!)
Where's my iPod?
To assist you in accurate rebate processing, iPods will be reserved for you in the store. Stop by RAM Computers with your Student ID to pick it up.
What's my "eCampus ID"?
Your eCampus ID is assigned to you by URI upon enrollment. RAM Computers is not affiliated with this process, please call the Help Desk at 401-874-HELP (or, on campus, 4-HELP) for assistance.
What's my "eCampus Password"?
Your default password is your date of birth in the format: MMDDYYYY. (For example, 01011980 for someone with the birthdate of January 1, 1980.) If you forgot your password, please call the Help Desk at 401-874-HELP (or, on campus, 4-HELP) for assistance.
What's my computer's password?
Your system is configured to automatically log in and should not require a password. Please call RAM Computers at (401) 874-2679 (or, on campus, 4-2679) for assistance in obtaining your default password.
I'm having difficulties with eCampus, network connectivity or e-mail.
Please call the URI Help desk at 401-874-HELP (or, on campus, 4-HELP) for assistance.
Where can I download Virus Proctection software?
We install all suggested virus updates as part of the Rhody Ready program. To access the virus protection area, please visit http://www.uri.edu/virus/. When downloading files, you will be prompted for a User ID and Password. Simply enter your eCampus User ID and Password to download. If you have a Mac, you do NOT need to install any Virus Protection.
Is it too late to buy accessories like a case, iPod, etc?
Not at all! RAM Computers has several iPods, carrying cases, networking cords, jump drives and plenty of other accessories in stock! Stop on by!
