Jennifer Doucet, M.A.
Graduate Research Assistant

Jennifer received her M.A. in
Clinical Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
She has come to URI's PhD program in Clinical Psychology with an
emphasis in health related issues like stress, heart diseases, smoking,
diet, and exercise. Jennifer has recently become interested in racial
differences and health disparities. She has become a participating
member of the Tobacco and Health Disparities Research Network (Rnet),
which addresses these issues in the United States. She is currently
working as a research assistant at the CPRC under the supervision of
Wayne Velicer on an multiple behavior change project for reducing cancer
risks. Jennifer has incorporated her growing qualitative skills into
this project and will be administering the first qualitative evaluation
of an expert system intervention.
