Peak Times
The telephone survey center is operated 7 days a
week, usually from 9:00 am to 9:30 PM, with scheduled interviews
occurring throughout the day. Call back interviews can be
scheduled for any time during the day or evening. Experience has
shown that the evening and weekend hours tend to be best for
reaching subjects at home, and many of the center's interviewing
hours are scheduled during these times. The volume of
available workstations in operation is periodically adjusted to
correspond to the rates of successful contact found throughout the
day.
