June 5, 2006 All 52 pools of mosquitoes collected from 11 traps tested negative for both EEE and West Nile virus.
June 12, 2006 All 85 pools of mosquitoes collected from 17 traps tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.

July 3, 2006 All 80 pools of mosquitoes collected from 27 traps tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
July 10, 2006 All 117 pools of mosquitoes collected from 27 traps tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
July 17, 2006 All 88 pools of mosquitoes collected from 26 traps tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
July 24, 2006 All 74 pools of mosquitoes collected from 28 traps tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
July 31, 2006 All 86 pools of mosquitoes collected from 25 traps tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
August 8, 2006 Two pools from one trap set in South Kingstown have tested positive for the Highlands J virus. One pool from one trap in Middletown and one pool from one trap in Richmond have tested positive for West Nile Virus. The remaining 119 pools collected from 40 traps have tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
August 15, 2006 Three pools from one trap in Barrington have tested positive for West Nile Virus. The remaining 122 pools collected from 44 traps have tested negative for both West Nile Virus and EEE..
August 21, 2006 One pool from one trap in Tiverton has tested positive for Highlands J virus and another pool collected from a trap in Barrington has tested positive for West Nile Virus. The remaining pools have all tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
August 29, 2006 Two pools from the same trap in Westerly have tested positive for Highlands J virus. The remaining pools have all tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
September 3, 2006 Four pools of mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile Virus from the following areas: Cranston, Richmond, and Block Island. Another pool of mosquitoes collected from Westerly has tested positive for Highlands J virus. The remaining 83 pools have all tested negative for EEE and West Nile Virus.
September 10, 2006 All 30 pools of mosquitoes collected from 49 traps have tested negative for EEE and West Nile Virus.
September 17, 2006 One pool collected from a trap in Westerly has tested positive for EEE. The remaining pools have all tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
September 24, 2006 All pools collected from 35 traps have tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
October 1, 2006 Two pools from one trap in Westerly have tested positive for EEE. The remaining pools have all tested negative for both EEE and West Nile Virus.
