2002 - Current pest report - Apple scab infection periods

McIntosh Tree stage:
3/31/02 - green tip
4/13/02 - half inch green
4/15/02 - tight cluster
4/18/02 - pink
4/20/02 - bloom
5/6/02 - petal fall

Apple scab infection periods:
4/28/02 - We finally have our first apple scab infection period of the season. Starting 4/28/02 at 8:00AM and ending???? (About 48 hours later - 8:00AM 4/30
5/2/02 - Second infection period - estimating 24 hours at an average of 46 degrees
5/12/02 - Through 5/13/02. Our third infection period is by far the most significant. At least 50% of the primary season spores were released. We should be at the end of primary scab season within the week.
