All personnel actively involved with animal protocols must complete CITI training modules for animal care and use. All personnel are required to complete the Investigators, Staff and Students, Basic Course (Working with the IACUC) AND the appropriate species specific training and the post procedure care training (depending on the species utilized in the protocol). Completion certificates (completion dates within the past three years) are required to be uploaded for all personnel as part of the submission package. Additionally hands-on procedure specific training may be required by the IACUC. For more information on CITI training see the CITI training page.
Available CITI modules are listed below.
All new users (staff or students) of laboratory animals (e.g., mice, rats, rabbits) and the animal facilities must attend a mandatory facility orientation and tour. Facility orientation sessions are offered on the first Wednesday of each month at 10AM. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
