User Guides - Instructions for IRBNet Online Submissions

URI has contracted with IRBNet, a web-based system for management of IRB submissions. IRBNet is expected to make the submission process easier and more convenient for researchers.

Investigators will submit their research protocols electronically to the board through the IRBNet system. The online toolset will help administrators and IRB members review and act on proposals more efficiently.

Step-by-step user guides (below) have been created by the URI Office of Research Compliance for each part of the IRBNet protocol submission process.

DO NOT REQUEST A DEMO WHEN YOU ACCESS THE IRBNET HOMEPAGE. The demo is NOT a training application and will not be helpful to you.

The URI Office of Research Compliance thanks the staff of the Research Compliance Office at Ball State University for allowing us to adapt their IRBNet training materials.
