Division of Sponsored Projects Review

The main functions of the Division of Sponsored Projects Review are to handle the fiscal and administrative aspects of proposals, to negotiate with sponsoring agencies, and to accept and process awards on behalf of the University. The Division also reviews and drafts agreements, contracts and subcontracts. Among the services that this Division provides are:

• Assistance to researchers in proposal budget development.
• Assistance to researchers in preparing fiscal and administrative responses to Requests for Proposals.
• Review and approval of proposals before submittal to a funding agency.
• Fiscal and administrative information on such matters as indirect cost rates, fringe benefit rates, budget revisions, time extensions, continuations, renewals, etc., of ongoing projects.
