Dr. Moran is Professor of Oceanography at the Graduate School of Oceanography and oversees an active research program in ocean carbon dynamics, Arctic oceanography, coastal groundwater transport, and environmental radioactivity. He recently initiated the development of the first Masters of Business Administration-Masters of Oceanography (MBA-MO) dual degree, "The Blue MBA", which has the goal of educating future leaders in the strategic management of global change opportunities.
