The State of Rhode Island strives to create a multilingual,culturally savvy, globally competent Rhode Island community and workforce by creating well articulated language learning programs emphasizing proficiency and biliteracy.
By 2030, the majority of Rhode Island graduates will be proficient in English and at least one other language.
