The American Society of Animal Science (ASAS)
The ASAS is an organization for animal scientists that promotes research, extension, teaching, and service in the livestock and meat industries. ASAS is also responsible for the publication of the Journal of Animal Science.
The American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA)
The AZA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of zoos and aquariums in all areas (i.e., conservation, education, science, and recreation). Its Website provides information on conferences, jobs, and links to other related topics.
The Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association (RIVMA)
The RIVMA provides information for both pet owners and veterinarians. The Association’s Website contains information about animal health, animal awareness issues, and local hospital and practice locations.
