Academic Roadmap®
There is no minor available in Nursing.
Many nursing students choose to declare a minor field of study while pursuing their baccalaureate degree. Nursing majors who choose to do a minor may select any field of study offered by the University.
For a full description of all available minors at URI, read Minor Fields of Study. Minors that particularly appeal to nursing students include but are not limited to psychology, thanatology, gerontology, leadership, nutrition, ROTC, or a foreign language.
The College of Nursing offers a minor in Thanatology, the study of the effects of approaching death and of the needs of the terminally ill and their families. To read more about this minor, visit: Interdisciplinary Minor in Thanatology.
