- PSY 305 - Field Experience in Psychology
- Direct contact with settings and populations served by psychologists. Emphasis on understanding models and theories in relation to practical problems. Topical sections may include: a ) preclinical, b) community, c) laboratory, and d) organizational applications.
- ITR 301/302 - Field Experience
- Field experience gained at placement site through participation in the ITR (Internships and Experiential Education) program. The experience will be defined by a job description and learning contract arranged by the ITR director between the student intern, the internŐs faculty advisor, and the relevant agency supervisor.
- PSY 473 - Practicum in Behavioral Psychology
- Supervised, on-site field experience in applications of behavioral approaches in an educational or human service setting.
- PSY 488 - Undergraduate Teaching Experience in Psychology
- Students will acquire experience in psychology working under the supervision of course instructors and/or faculty members.
- PSY 489 - Problems in Psychology
- Advanced work in psychology. Course will be conducted as seminar or as supervised individual project. This is an opportunity to work closely on a research project with a faculty member or advanced graduate student.
- PSY 499 - Psychology Practicum
- Individual and group projects applying psychology in clinical or laboratory settings.
- EDC 484 - Supervised student teaching (available only to Education double majors)
- Under approved critic teachers, students participate in classroom teaching and other school activities for a period determined by credit to be earned. Areas include secondary education, middle level education, elementary education, early childhood education, and music.
