The industrial hygiene and fire safety area is under the supervision of the Coordinator of Industrial Hygiene and Fire Safety.  This area is responsible for the day to day industrial hygiene and fire safety of all four campuses.   This area covers all fire safety inspections for Dormitories, Fraternities and Sororities plus the Administrative, Academic and Service buildings on all campuses.   The Director, Coordinator and Assistant Deputy State Fire Marshals have the authority to approve all plans and process all forms normally handled by the State Fire Marshal.   This authority saves the University the permit fees and a step in the design process.
