SPOTLIGHT ON ALPHA CHI OMEGA:

We, the sisters of the Gamma Sigma chapter, welcome you to the University of Rhode Island's Recruitment. Here at Alpha Chi Omega we strive to maintain our founding credentials: leadership, scholarship, friendships, service, and finance.

The memberse of A-Chi-O serve the URI and surrounding community in various ways. As leaders we uphold positions not only in our chapter, but in other student organizations such as Student Senate, New Student Programming, and URI 101 Mentoring. We also take pride in supporting our nation philanthropy, Victims of Domestic Violence. We also participate in an annual Halloween block party for children of Narragansett as well as our newest tradition, "Carnations for Cancer."

Regardless of our commitment to our studies, philantrhopic events, and leadership positions, we thrive on sisterhood bonding through social activities, which include formals, socials, and just "chillin" at our house. With all these opportunities at hand, Alpha Chi Omega sorority creates lasting friendships and priceless memories for years to come.
