SPOTLIGHT ON ALPHA PHI:
The Iota Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi welcomes you to the University of Rhode Island.
We invite you to come and learn about our sisterhood. The sisters of Alpha Phi are involved in many aspects of the URI campus. We have women in SAA, URI 101 Mentors, Greek 101 Mentors, Peer Advocates at the Women's Center, Jump Start, Tour Guides, and various sports teams. The women Alpha Phi are also very serious about academics. We have sisters in many honor societies, and women of many interests and majors.
Alpha Phi dedicates much time to helping our community. We hold a semi-annual "Swing-a-Thon" to benefit the Alpha Phi Foundation. We are also proud to say that we were winners of Philanthropy Week last year. We do many fundraisers to help the Women's Center, and we raise money for our philanthropy; Women's Cardiac Care.
Alpha Phi also loves to have fun! We have year-round socials, a Red Dress Gala in the fall and a formal in the spring. We also love Greek Week! We took first place for the sororities last spring.
Alpha Phi is a bond of sisterhood that will last a lifetime. At Alpha Phi, you will always have a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold, and a family that will love you unconditionally. The sisters of Alpha Phi wish you the best of luck and look forward to meeting you!
