Spotlight on Chi Omega
The Sisters of the Lambda Beta chapter are the World's largest women's fraternal organization and have been on the URI campus since 1922! As Chi Omega's we spend time helping out our national philanthropy which is the Make a Wish Foundation. This past spring we sent an eight year old girl named Victoria on a Disney Cruise! We also help out with philanthropies around campus and encourage our sister's to help those in need. Not only do we help our community, but we enjoy having a good time. We have formals, socials, host a founder's day for local Chi O alumnae, and we are very involved on campus.
Our sisters are well rounded girls and belong to multiple organizations. Just to name a few STARS, Student Entertainment Committee, Student Nursing Society, Winter Guard, Tour Guides, URI 101 mentors, interns, Rhody Rides, and so many more!
