Spotlight on Zeta Tau Alpha:

The sisters of the Lambda Beta Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha would like to
welcome you to The University of Rhode Island. Belonging to Zeta Tau Alpha
provides members with a variety of valuable opportunities from academic
programs to community service. Our sisters are involved in numerous
activities around campus including athletics, Greek and URI 101 Mentors,
SEC, Resident Assistant, campus plays and much more. You will find us in
every building on campus, as we have sisters in every major.

We proudly promote our national philanthropy – breast cancer
awareness and education. By owning the trademark “Think Pink,” partnering
with the NFL and Yoplait, and co-sponsoring the Breast Cancer Survivor
Recognition program at Komen Race for the Cure events, ZTA makes a
difference in the lives of women everywhere. We raise awareness through
various fundraisers and events and encourage others to become involved in
our fight for a cure.

Along with being passionate about our national philanthropy, the
sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha know how to have fun! We have Fall and Spring
formals and participate in the URI’s annual Philanthropy Week and Greek
Week, where we were the 2009 Greek Week Winners as a team.

Being a member of Zeta Tau Alpha means having scores of sisters
who genuinely care about you. Your Zeta sisters are always there for you –
not only to rejoice in your accomplishments, but to pick you up when you
need a hand. Zeta Tau Alpha is a place of love, laughter, support and
appreciation. It is a place where you feel at home and can be yourself. We
look forward to meeting you during recruitment and welcoming you into our
home at 4 Fraternity Circle!
