Message from the Dean

Welcome to the University of Rhode Island Office of Student Life website. My colleagues and I work to help students maximize their college experience. From our diversity-related offices to our service and support functions, we offer programs and services that heighten students' ability to focus on academic endeavors. We are here to serve students.

Within this site you will find diversity-related offices such as Disability Student Services, Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Center, Multicultural Student Services, and the Women's Center. Each department has a unique set of functions yet work collaboratively across the campus. We are here to celebrate diversity.

Supporting URI's academic mission, our Commuter Housing, Greek Life, Student Conduct, and Substance Abuse Prevention Departments, work to create a safer and more supportive community for individual and groups of students. These offices partner with all community members to support the URI Cornerstones. We are here to promote responsibility.
