Meet
the current RAM Choices Staff
Dan Reilly has is the Director of Substance Abuse Prevention
Services. Prior to coming to Rhode Island he served as an Alcohol
and Other Drug/Violence Prevention Specialist for the University of Arizona.
Dan has also served as an inpatient/outpatient Chemical Dependency Counselor
and as a Hall Director in university residence life programs.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts – Psychology degree from the University
of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988 and a Master of Science – Psychology degree
from Central Missouri State University in 1992.
Recent publications include: “Program Reduces Binge Drinking
on Campus” with Koreen Johannessen, The Bulletin: Association of
College Unions International, September 1998. and "Preventing Sexual
Abuse And Assault." with Judith Becker, Sexual Abuse: Journal of Research
and Treatment, October 1999.
Amy Klopfenstein is a URI graduate student in the college student
personnel program. She was a 1995 Rhode Island College graduate with a
degree in communicative disorders. Her graduate assistainceship includes
the co-coordination of the Ram Choices program.
Keith
Labelle graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a double
major in communications and marine affairs in the fall of 2000. While at
the university he was a 4-year starter on the baseball team and was named
captain his senior year. He is currently the co-coordinator of Ram Choices
and also works for Substance Abuse Prevention services in the office of
Student Life.
