The Xi Chapter of LKS was founded on June 22, 1927 and is located within the
College of Pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island.
Currently, Xi Chapter has a total of 158 active sisters and is still growing
with larger PNM classes each year!
At the 2011 Annual Convention in Detroit, MI, Xi chapter
was awarded runner up for the Efficiency Cup as well as 4 chapter
achievement awards; scholarship, loyalty, leadership, and membership. Xi
also won first place in the poster presentation for our poster on the Red
Dress Gala.
At the 2010 Biennial Convention in Pittsburgh, PA,
Xi chapter was awarded runner up for the Efficiency Cup as well as 4 chapter
achievement awards; chapter publications, leadership, professionalism, and
scholarship.
At the 2008 Biennial Convention in Savannah, Georgia, Xi chapter was proud
to bring home our first ever Efficiency Cup, as well as the Loyalty,
Professionalism, Projects, and Publications awards; a total of 4 out
of the available 7 chapter achievement awards.
