Sorry I took so long getting these out, I've been a major slacker lately.

~Maine Fishermans Forum- March 4-6 (thurs-sat). We'll probably book 3 rooms, definately friday night, not sure yet about thursday, and possibly saturday night as well. If we stay saturday night, we'll find something interesting to do on sunday before heading back. If you are seriously interested in going, let us know so we can plan accordingly. We have to pay 25% out of pocket, so it will probably be about $20 per person. Nothing is set in stone yet, and we dont need definate plans yet, just want everyone to keep this in mind for next semester.
~Salmon Hatchery- Kevin finally got in touch with them, they have been having problems with their breeding stock, and with organizing groups to come help them out. There was only one day available to go for the breeding thing, so we passed (it was the middle of the day on a tuesday), but we can go take a tour whenever we want. We were thinking of waiting until early next semester to go.
~There will be a party at Kevins house on the last day of classes, Dec 8. If you need directions, let us know. As far as time, etc, I have no clue, but I'll let you know before then.

And just a reminder, tonights meeting will be at 5:00 in Woodward student lounge, not at the normal 6:30 time. Sorry if this inconveniences anyone.

Here is the list of AIM screen names that we collected last week. Use these to get in touch with people quicker. If you arent on this list, and have an AIM screen name, please let me know.

Hey everyone!
Just a quick update on what is going on lately.
~The trip to mystic was a success! The weather gods were happy with us that day and allowed it to happen. We all had a great time. We are possibly thinking about going again in the spring, so if you didnt get a chance to go this time, hopefully you can go then.
~We are planning to have a party at the end of the semester- possibly on the last day of classes, December 8. This will possibly be at Kevins, unless anyone else has any suggestions. More details to come.
~Kevin STILL hasnt heard back from the North Attleboro Salmon Hatchery. Its starting to look like we may not be able to do this this year. More info on this as things develop.
~Jessica is looking into rooms for the Maine Fishermans forum. This wont be till March, but its better to have things planned out ahead of time. We arent quite sure yet how many will be able to go. If you are serious about wanting to go, let us know. We'll have more details about this as the time draws nearer.

And last but not least, we had our first discussion (based on those cards we filled out, remember those?) about "Those Damn Tree-Hugging Hippies". It was an interesting discussion. I'm looking forward to finding out what we get to argue, er, discuss this week.

Hope to see you all at the meeting,
Shannon

Hey everyone!

This weeks meeting went great- we watched finding nemo and it was awesome! Only one big announcement this week:
We are going to the Mystic Aquarium this Saturday, Nov 8. Its only going to cost $2 each to get in, so if you want to go, please let us know, we definately still have places open. Anyone planning on going should meet at the traffic circle outside the union at 11am. We plan to get to Mystic by 12, so please, dont be late. We dont have any set plans for after we are done with the aquarium, but it has been suggested that we explore Mystic a bit. We will wait and see whats going on, what the weathers like, what we feel like before we really decide anything- basically, it will probably be a play it by ear situation after the aquarium. I look forward to seeing you all there!
Have a great week till then-
Shannon
