Minutes: November 18th
Greetings,
I hope that everyone had fun that went on the Block Island day hike, espically those who went on Saturday and toughed out the rain and all. Members also went to Block Island on Sunday and attended an amazing tea party! A special thanks to Blossom!
As for the calendar, it is in progress, but we still need pictures!! Please, please, please send them to our email address by THIS Wednesday by 4pm. We will put them on a slide show to be shown at our vegetarian thanksgiving potluck. They will then be voted on for the calendar.
The vegetarian thanksgiving potluck will be this thursday in Eddy hall. Dinner starts at 6pm and we will be in the kitchen in Eddy at 4:15ish. All are welcome to join us, all we ask is that you bring something to contribute!
Our gingerbread "house" building will take place next tuesday at 5pm (half an hour before the meeting) in room 318, our usual meeting room. Come help us build a masterpiece. Please bring tools, candy, and ideas that may be used! This should be a lot of fun so I hope to see people there.
FYI, our elections are taking place on December 2nd at our usual meeting. So far, Joe Attwater and Steve Malen have been nominated to be the treasurer, Ben Berry has been nominated to be the Vice-President, Bridget Griffith has been nominated to be the President, and Tyler Bissonnette has been nominated for all three positions. If you have any other nominations let us know! Otherwise, please make sure you attend the meeting on December 2, to participate in the democratic process.
If you have a t-shirt design or a logo idea for the outing club, let us know asap! *cough* Alex *cough* Ben Berry knows someone who may be willing to make the shirts and will let us know about that at the next meeting.
There is a group of people going to Carabiners this weekend. Carabiners is a large rock gym in New Bedford, MA. It will cost $19 and this includes gear rental. If you are interested, contact Ben Berry.
