Description: The University of Rhode Island College Democrats is not just a political organization. It is also an out reach program to get students involved in politics and community. We are here to educate the activists and party of tomorrow. We do not merely seek the advancement of the Democratic Party, but rather we seek the advancement of the intellect, spirit, individual, pride, and knowledge of politics.
We are always interested in the aspects of the community and therefore attempt to involve ourselves in public events through group or private means, we encourage our members to be active in the community. We also take part in various campus activities such as Earth Day, debates, and forums. We always look forward to working with other groups and organizations that will benefit the public.
