Description: The URI student chapter of ASME offers students in Mechanical Engineering professional development opportunities. There are many activities that are planned throughout the year including the annual Car Smash and the revival of the Water Bottle Rocket Competition. The ASME also offers students the opportunity to become a member of a prestigious national organization. The ASME office is located on the second floor of Wales Hall across from the soda machines. The message board to the right of the office is used to communicate meetings and other events.
