Description: The University of Rhode Island Animal and Veterinary Science Club is committed to continued community outreach, encouraging the involvement of scholarship, and the development of competent leadership amongst student members. The Club will provide a peer-mentoring program to ease the students' transitions into the University, while promoting unity among its members. The Club will participate in regional competitions in order to enhance our affiliation with the Animal and Veterinary Science organizations of other universities throughout New England. In order to provide members with a source of understanding of the animal and veterinary science field, the Club will also participate in a wide variety of career-oriented activities.
