Sidebar Ad

• Also known as the skyscraper ad because it runs verticially along the side of the page.
• They are generally about 120 pixels tall, but they can be up to 120 pixels.
• More effective than banner ads due to the fact that they are larger than banners, and they cant just be scrolled of the screen.
• Has two to three times the branding and click through power of a banner ad.
• For that reason sidebar ads are more expensive than banner ads.

Pop-up and Pop-Unders

• •Pop- up and under ads automatically open when you enter, exit or move about a website. They don’t go away until you close them down.

  • Pop-up and pop-under windows can generate 3 times higher ratings than the industry average for banners.
