FDFSCA for Faculty and Staff

In order to remain in compliance with the Federal Drug Free Schools and Communities the University of Rhode Island is required to provide the following information:

•  Standards of Conduct that clearly prohibit the unlawful possession, use or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol on college property or as part of University activities. This information can be found in the University of Rhode Island Procedural Manual (section 3.27 and 3.28) at the following websites;

•  A description of the applicable legal sanctions under State or Federal law for unlawful possession or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol. This information can be found in the Student Handbook (pages 25-26) at:

•  A description of the health risks associated with the use of illicit drugs and abuse of alcohol. This information can be found in the Student Handbook (pages 26-28) at: http://www.uri.edu/judicial/studenthandbook.pdf .

 

•  A description of any drug or alcohol counseling, treatment, or rehabilitation or re-entry programs that are available to students, staff, and faculty.
