Visiting Students:
You have a lot to gain as a visiting student at the University of Rhode Island Summer Term.
For starters, there are over 550 undergraduate and graduate summer courses from which to choose. Whether you want to earn credits toward a degree, transfer credits to another institution, or explore new interests, you are sure to find academic summer programs that meet your requirements.
Beyond class, you’ll be able to enjoy Southern Rhode Island beaches, and this summer you can also take advantage of the opportunity to check out URI’s new housing option. Traditional summer school students will be assigned to the new Building B in the North Woods Apartments and Suites located on Flag Road. Building B is air-conditioned and consists of 22 beds in apartment style accommodations (having full kitchens and private baths), and 50 beds in suite style accommodations (private bathrooms in each suite with access to a community kitchen on the first floor) Students are provided with internet, telephone and cable TV connections in each room.
