Transfer Policy
Talent Development (TD) accepts transfers from the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI). Click Apply to TD for more information.
Requirements for TD/CCRI Transfer:
- Twenty-four (24)* to thirty (30) transferable credits
- A GPA of 2.30 or higher
Application Deadline:
- TD/CCRI transfer students should apply by the same deadline as freshmen applicants: December 15.
SAT/ACT Policy:
- SAT/ACT scores are not required for CCRI transfer applicants.
Transfer applicants should consult the Transfer Guide for Students for information about course and program transfer agreements.
*Students subject to placement tests and subsequent required registration in non-transferable CCRI courses in math, reading, and writing must earn eighteen (18) transferable credits.

In 1968, 13 students matriculated at URI through Talent Development. Currently, there are more than 1,300 students and more than 1,600 graduates.
