AAUP 2007 SUMMER INSTITUTE The AAUP is holding this years Summer Institute at the University of Nevada, Reno. The Summer Institute is an opportunity for leaders and activists in higher education to enhance their skills at strategic planning, gain a better understanding of union activities and network with colleagues and other graduate assistants from across the country. The Institute is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2007 through Sunday, July 22, 2007. A full schedule of events is listed at their website http://www.aaup.org/AAUP/About/events/2007-SI/. Graduate assistants are encouraged to attend and all expenses are paid for by the GAU. If any one is interested in attending this extremely important event, please contact the GAU as soom as possible.
