Pre-Participation Journal Response

As part of your community service pre-reflection, you need to visit the websites for Women's Resource Center of South County (http://www.wrcsc.org/) and answer the following questions. You must submit your responses to Beth Misiura by email. She must receive your responses by 12:00 noon on Sunday, October 22.

• What are some of its services?

Go to the Domestic Violence Information page and answer the following questions:

• How prevalent is domestic abuse? How prevalent is domestic abuse of children?
• What are two things you learned about domestic abuse? Were you surprised by these facts?

Here are questions about volunteering:

• How have you volunteered before?
• What issues in the community concern you?
• What do you know right now about your community service project?
