On behalf of the Rhode Island Department of Transportation Office of Highway Safety (RIDOT/OHS), the University of Rhode Island Transportation Center (URITC) proposes the Intervention Pilot Project (IPP), a project with a mission defined as:
A program that engages "At-Risk-Drivers" to educate them by aligning awareness of risks and consequences of DUI related to fear of arrest, adjudication, prosecution and consequences in terms of jail, penalties, fines, loss of license as well as risk or personal injury or loss of life.
The URITC will oversee the RFP procurement process and administer the Intervention Pilot Project. RIDOT/OHS will have final decision-making approval on Agency selections.

Proposals will now be due on August 14th before 12:00 noon.
Proposals will be accepted for amounts ranging from $10,000 to $100,000.
The term of any award resulting from this request shall be no more than Twelve (12) Months from grant award (no change).
