Participants welcome for the Spring Oxfam Hunger Banquet! At this advocacy and awareness project, participants will engage in an interactive meal. Everyone will partake in dinner, although not everyone will leave with full stomachs. Everyone will leave with new knowledge about hunger and poverty in Rhode Island and around the world.
Participants are asked to bring $2 donation for Oxfam America and/or a non perishable food donation for the RI Food Bank.
Doors open at 4:45PM on Wednesday, in the Multicultural Center Hardge Forum (large room on first floor). Event begins at 5:00PM. ...
