"Giving of oneself to better the lives of others - regardless of race, creed, or religion - is the greatest of all achievements."
- Alan Shawn Feinstein

URI 101 Feinstein Enriching America Program:

Make-Up Policy: If a student misses a project due to illness or family emergency he/she can email the Clearinghouse for Volunteers Intern with his/her name, URI 101 section and reason for missing project. The student can also stop by the Clearinghouse for Volunteers in Roosevelt Hall Room 125. The student will then receive an email with alternate projects.

If a student missed for an inexcusable/ unacceptable reason, he/she will be added to the waitlist for a make-up service project. Those students will receive email notifications when spaces become available on other make-up projects. This way students with legitimate reasons for missing a project have ample opportunity to attend another project.

Instructors and URI 101 mentors will receive an email update in November with a list of their students that attended make-up projects. Instructors can also email inquires to Sarah Miller at sgmiller@mail.uri.edu.
