What is Jumpstart?
General Information for Jumpstart URI
Steps to Join Jumpstart URI 2011-2012!
1. Decide if Jumpstart URI fits into your schedule for FALL 2011!You should only select 1 of the following options for the ENTIRE 2011-2012 YEAR*:
OPTION A
Jumpstart Sessions: M/W 3pm-5:30pm**
CSV 302: T/TH 3:30pm-4:45pmOPTION B
Jumpstart Sessions: T/TH 12:15pm-2:45pm
CSV 302: M/W 1pm-2:15pm
OPTION C
Jumpstart Sessions: T/TH 3pm-5:30pm
CSV 302: M/W 1pm-2:15pm*If you have a conflict, do not let that stop you from applying! Make an appointment to meet with Catherine Cutlip or Lynne Finnegan to discuss other options.
**Jumpstart Session time does not include drive time to and from pre-school. Preschool placements usually depend on schedules
2. Complete Jumpstart application for Corps Members
3. Schedule an interview with Jumpstart Site Staff (Roosevelt Hall 133/135)
4. Obtain a permission number from Jumpstart Site Staff to enroll in Fall CSV course, select your Jumpstart Session, and get any questions you might have answered.
5. Accept an offer as a 2011-2012 Corps Member, if presented by Jumpstart Site Staff
6. Provide Jumpstart Site Staff with copies of the following required documents:
* Copy of Birth Certificate + Copy of current Drivers License
**See Lynne or Cat for complete list of acceptable documents for substitutions
* Copy of Car Insurance ONLY IF driving to or from preschool
* Copy of Social Security Card ONLY IF using awarded work-study funds
**Enrollment not considered final until all required paperwork is received.
7. Attend CSV 302 class on the appropriate first day of classes for Fall 2011
*Wednesday, September 7, 2011 OR Thursday September 8, 2011
