Currently, the program has 75 students working in the program as teachers in training.

Established in 1996, the program added a kindergarten in 1998 and has increased the number of families using scholarships to enroll in the program. The center also fulfills an outreach function with the staff delivering presentations about high quality early childhood programs throughout the region. The center encourages the community to observe and learn more about early childhood education by visiting the program.

Founded in 1926, the National Association for the Education of Young Children is the world’s largest organization working on behalf of young children.
