The play will be performed at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Union Ballroom, Kingston campus.<\/p>\n<p>Weaver\u2019s Menopause Mama is feisty, frank, and fun. Her hot flashes are only power surges. Weaver\u2019s songs tie midlife women\u2019s trials together. The play\u2019s a celebration of the natural and unstoppable process of aging. And it\u2019s not for women only.<\/p>\n<p>The audience can meet the artist right after the show. Weaver will join M. Beverly Swan, URI\u2019s provost and vice president of academic affairs, Phil Clark, director of the Rhode Island Geriatric Education Center, and Helen Mederer, chair of URI\u2019s Sociology Department, in a panel discussion.<\/p>\n<p>Refreshments will be served. Tickets are $15 for the public, $10 for faculty and staff, and $5 for students. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 874-2832 and they will also be available at the door.
