The geography minor (18 credits) is designed to enhance students’ spatial skills. Global awareness is a fundamental component of many programs of study at URI and is a critical element in developing spatial literacy. The minor requires GEG 101 World Geography (3 credits) and 15 credits approved by the geography advisor.
