Jerry Mischak


Jerry Mischak has been awarded the Howard Foundation Fellowship in 2001 and the Rhode Island State Council of the Arts Fellowship in 2003. He has shown in group exhibitions as well as solo exhibitions including at the Rare Gallery in New York, Barneys on Madison Avenue, Elizabeth Arden, and the Dru Arstark Gallery in New York. His work has been reviewed in the New York Times.

Mischak works in collage and abstraction and currently teaches sculpture and three-dimensional design at the Department of Art & Art History. He often encourages his students to work outside, using raw materials and natural elements.
