The Department of Modern languages Chinese Program in collaboration with the URI Confucius Institute is proud to announce the 1st annual Chinese Speech Competition. The fund provides for fellowships for Rhode Island residents and students who wish to pursue foreign language study. Amounts range from $1000 - $25000. Applications are due online by January 31st, 2013.
