The Dean’s Opportunity Fund

The Dean’s Opportunity Fund has been created to catalyze faculty research, scholarly or creative projects using small grants of between $200-$2000, to be awarded ad hoc to any tenured and tenure-track faculty within the College.

RFP for the Annual Lecture Series on African American, Black Diaspora and Global Black Lives, a competitive internal funding opportunity to promote knowledge building, dialogue and understanding about Black life in the Americas and beyond. The aim of this annual lecture series is to bring to campus scholars, activists, artists and/or cultural workers who work on significant themes, research and/or timely scholarship, policy, advocacy, art and/or community initiatives, aboutAfrican American, the Black Diaspora, and/or Black Global life.

Summer Faculty Research Program (SFRP)

The A&S Dean’s Summer Faculty Research Program (SFRP) is a competitive internal funding opportunity in orderto advance research and creative activity. The purpose of this program is for pre-tenure track faculty (assistantprofessors) and mid-career tenure track faculty (associate professors) to dedicate substantive summer time to researchor creative projects.
