Scheduling
Lessons generally take place on weekdays during the late afternoon and early evening, depending on the individual teacher’s schedule. Lessons may take place at other times if agreed upon by teacher and student.
All scheduling decisions are made between student and teacher. Teachers are responsible for contacting students to set up lessons once registration forms with payment have been received and processed by the Program office. Please allow 4-5 days for mail to be received.
The Program office does not make scheduling arrangements.
Holidays and Vacations
Our sessions correspond to the URI academic calendar, not the public school calendar, so it is important to check with your teacher regarding lessons during public school vacation weeks and holidays.
Officially, lessons are not held during URI vacation weeks, but some teachers prefer to schedule make-up lessons during these weeks. Please check with your teacher to be sure.
