A Plan for the Improvement of Graduate Programs at URI (4/2011)
Workshop 1: Outcomes Based Assessment
Workshop 2: Creating an Assessment Plan
Workshop 3: Assessment Plan Template
Since the spring of 2005, URI faculty committees have developed and implemented assessment procedures for the the University's general education program. The Subcommittee on Assessment of General Education (SAGE) is the organizational mechanism for furthering this assessment process, and reports to the University College and General Education Committee of the Faculty Senate. Currently, plans are being developed to revitalize and renew the general education program. A time line for finalization and implementation is being established.
Following the commencement of Graduate Program assessment, Student Affairs assessment will be a focus of undergraduate assessment work.
