Located in the North District of URI's Kingston Campus on Flagg Road between the Cancer Prevention Research Center and the Coastal Institue, the 140,000 square-foot Center for Biotechnology and Life Sciences at the University of Rhode Island is the focal point of a statewide effort to build a new, knowledge-based economy for Rhode Island. The Center will be the hub of cutting-edge research, imaginative undergraduate and graduate education, and modern workforce development and economic growth in RI’s biotechnology, health, and life sciences sectors and serve as a platform for statewide innovation and institutional collaboration.
