Research Interests:

Ornithology, Animal Behavior. Special research interests: structure and function of organized groups of moving animals, particularly birds; mechanisms of flight in birds; role of chaos in behavioral systems; classroom research in the teaching of biology, general bird research, research on large class instructional methods.
