Mountain Pepperbush
Sparsely stemmed upright shrub or small tree. Dark green leaves
and exfoliating reddish-brown bark. White flowers open late
summer and attract butterflies. Partial shade to shade. Moist
acidic soil. Native to Eastern US. 8-12'.
