Cornus amomum

Silky Dogwood

Medium sized rounded shrub with purplish stems. Dark green leaves, yellowish flowers in clusters open late spring. Tiny bright blue fruits in late summer are attractive to birds. Prefers moist to wet soil and partial shade but is adaptable and easily transplanted. Native to RI. 6-10' x 6-10'.
