Elymus hystrix

Bottlebrush Grass

Ornamental grass with loose upright tufts of narrow green leaves. Bristly flower heads which rise above foliage resemble bottlebrushes. Prefers shade, will tolerate partial sun. Adaptable to many soil types. Native to Eastern US. 1.5-3' x 1-1.5'.
